Changes to FCAT - The Florida Department of Education is making transitions in the FCAT (Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test) that will go into effect next year.This letter describes the upcoming changes to the reading and math portions of the test beginning with the class of 2013.

The School District of Volusia County is accepting applications from families for free - and reduced - price meals for their children attending schools. An on-line application form is available on the district's website. Click on "Free and Reduced Meal" under Quick Links on the left-hand side of the school district home page and then scroll to the bottom of the page for the on-line application link. Only one application is needed per household.
