NATIONAL COUNCIL OF NEGRO WOMEN BLACK HISTORY BRAIN BOWL COMPETITION

Congratulations to the following students for participating in the National Council of Negro Women Black History Brain Bowl Competition on Saturday February 25th at Daytona State College. The Atlantic High School team, which came in Second Place, consisted of Cherell Davis, Sheryln Davis, Shantazia Howard, and Rayuana Matthews.  While not placing, the National Honor Society team consisting of –Katie Geren, Gage Fenwick, Samantha Roberts, and Pryncess Green did a fantastic job. Alternate for both teams was Alexis Williams. These students studied a total of 336 questions to prepare for this competition. We are very proud of these students.

The Success Measures application will enable users to learn about the Florida standards, also referred to as the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards, and the specific exams that will be testing that particular standard. Parents have the option to select information based on the anticipated school year, along with the grade level and the courses in Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Health or Physical Education.
