Free Sports Physical and ECG Screening Event
Advent Health will host free sports physicals and ECG screenings for Volusia County Students. Students who participate in athletics, ROTC, band, and firefighting academy should take advantage of this opportunity! To participate, students must register at VCSSportsPhysicals.com. Please use the following link to learn more about his event and required documents needed to attend. Deadline for registration is March 31st at 5pm.

GRADUATION - MAY 27 - CLASS OF 2025
GRADUATION DAY for the CLASS OF 2025 will take place at 4PM at the OCEAN CENTER in Daytona Beach.
This is a ticketed event. Tickets can be purchased through your V-Portal beginning May 1, 2025. There is no limit to the amount of tickets purchased.
Parking passes will also be available for purchase at that time.
TICKETS purchased can be picked up at the AHS front office beginning May 2nd. Please have your ID ready.
Graduation Tickets $5 each
Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2025
Tuesday, May, 27 at 4pm
Ocean Center, Daytona Beach
Tickets will be on sale May 1st - 23rd.
Tickets will also be on sale one hour before graduation at the Ocean Center for $5 each.
All pre-purchased tickets can be picked up at AHS Front Office from 1pm - 3pm daily, beginning May 1st.
There is no limit to the amount of tickets purchased.
Ocean Center parking is available for pre-purchase for $10 per vehicle. Or can be purchased on the day of the event for $15 at the Ocean Center parking lot.

Volusia County Schools Bag Policy
Approved Bags
- Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12"x6"x12"
- A logo no larger than 4.5"x 3.4" can be displayed on one side of a permissible clear bag.
- A clear bag shall be clear from top-to-bottom and up to a 2” trim/border on the bag is generally acceptable.
- One-gallon clear, re-sealable plastic storage bag
- Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5"x6.5", approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap
- Medically necessary items (after proper inspection)
Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to:
- Purses
- Backpacks
- Cinch/Drawstring Bags
- Briefcases
- Coolers
- Fanny packs
- Luggage of any kind
- Computer bags
- Camera bags
- Binocular cases
- Any bag larger than the permissible size
Prohibited Items
- Outside food or drink (including alcoholic beverages) – one 20 oz or less water bottle is allowed into school facilities
- Artificial Noise Makers
- Backpacks
- Cameras with extendable lenses larger than six inches
- Bags not compliant with the clear bag policy
- Tobacco products (including e-cigarettes, vapor pens, and chewing tobacco)
- Umbrellas
- Video cameras/cases
- Weapons
